This patch is merged with the last patch for the public version, but split in to 2 patch note releases for the closed beta on VHSMP

Balance Updates

  • Architect Vault Updates take 2
    • Added the new contest rooms listed above to the selector
    • Made the Gilded chest option cost less lock time
    • Made the Treasure Chest option cost less lock time
    • Made some of the rare rooms cheaper in vote lock time
  • Chests generated by Architect Vault Votes can now have a higher Rarity than common

We are intending on updating the pack with some mod updates, including Mekanism, but we need to properly test it out first, we are expecting to have it ready for the next patch. We are also looking into some more binomial calculation usages in Vault Gear, and considering changing it like we did with Chest Rarity in an upcoming patch.

    • Can appear in vaults at level 100 or higher

Balance Updates

  • Architect Vault Updates
    • Changed the focus of architect vaults to be focused on “Building a vault” rather than building direct rewards

      Note, this was beta tested on VHSMP since December 22 but balanced out in this patch for VHSMP as well

    • Upped the required votes for Architect Vault Completion, from 18-22 to 24-38
    • Added a handful of new rooms to the selector list when building a vault
    • Made any common room give back vote lock time (5s) instead of 0
    • Colour coded the rooms after rarity (common, rare, epic, omega)
    • Reaching the win condition in an architect vault now always spawns a portal instead of a potential boss fight
  • Upped the rates slightly of Runes spawning in chests, specifically in coop chests.
  • Vault Raid waves now scale to the level of players involved in the raid rather than the vault level

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where the etching vendor would be indefinitely replaced by cows
  • Stacked vault gear now splits its stack before rolling its rarity and tier
  • Fixed an advancement completion error making the Dash sound wrong for all armour sets
  • Fixed a bug where artifacts could be duped
  • Removed Cryochamber armor item icon render on the block to reduce FPS lag on clients
  • Fixed exhausted crystals not triggering influences
  • Fixed vendor rooms being able to appear in Architect vaults before level 250
  • Fixed a dupe bug with Quark and Dankstorage
  • Fixed crystal runes being applicable to architect vaults
    • You can still apply runes to undetermined objectives, in which case, rolling an architect vault will render those nonfunctional
  • Fixed iSpawners mob spawning to no longer spawn mobs inside walls and other invalid positions
  • Fixed some inconsistencies with loot tables not scaling vault gear correctly

    Note, there are still some errors that we are identifying, the work with this continues.
