FIRSTLY: PLAY IN THIRD PERSON - OTHERWISE BUGS WILL APPEAR
This modpack is built for cinematic third-person gameplay. First-person works, but it’s designed around third-person movement, camera, and shaders — otherwise the feel can be off. Vastlands is a cinematic exploration modpack focused on massive world generation, long-distance travel, and huge, open horizons. It’s built to make Minecraft feel bigger, more atmospheric, and more immersive while staying smooth and playable. The world is expanded through Distant Horizons + JJThunder, combining extreme render distance with realistic 1:1 terrain generation. This creates massive mountains, deep valleys, and endless landscapes that stretch far beyond normal Minecraft limits. Performance is handled by Sodium, keeping FPS stable even with heavy terrain and shaders. Visual atmosphere is enhanced using Iris, allowing shader packs for lighting, shadows, and cinematic visuals. To support everything running smoothly,
