Variable Ascension is a harsh world geared towards the player trying to transcend their own humanity in one or more ways. Become the machine god with Matter Overdrive, own more matter than the universe contains with Project EX or Avaritia, harness the powers of the old gods with Thaumcraft, Abyssal Craft, or Bewitchment, or maybe become a god under your own power with Bloodmagic.
