Welcome to Vanilla Vision!
This modpack focuses on a Vanilla++ experience, with the goal of making Minecraft feel like Mojang themselves could have created these features in a future update.
What is Vanilla++?
Vanilla++ is like Vanilla+, but with a stronger focus on fitting Mojang’s style and not adding unnecessary complexity. Mods should feel like natural extensions of the base game.
Examples of Vanilla++ Mods:
- Caverns and Chasms → Feels like Caves & Cliffs: Part 3.
- Dye Depot → Expands Minecraft’s colors, feels like a World of Color Expansion.
Examples of Non–Vanilla++ Mods:
- Create → Amazing mod, but its complex mechanics go beyond Mojang’s style.
- Immersive Aircraft → Fun, but too modern for what Mojang would add.
Dye Depot is not included with this modpack because it requires support from many other mods, even Dye the World! I have tested it.
