Vanilla Twist 5 is the continuation of the Vanilla Twist series, updated to Minecraft 1.12.2
Vanilla Twist is a custom survival pack designed to be light and server-friendly. It adds extra elements to Vanilla Minecraft that make the game slightly different, yet still very fun to play! The goal of the pack is to maintain the Vanilla Minecraft feel, yet add just enough mods to extend gameplay and allow you to dream big!
Version 5 of Vanilla Twist has been developed and tested using 4G of allocated RAM. If you start to experience lag freezes about every 5 seconds, completely exit the game and restart. To optimize RAM usage further, Dynamic Surroundings and Smooth Font can be safely disabled. If you are playing Single player, you can also disable FTB Lib and FTB Utilities. If you have the RAM available, 6G works very well.
Using the Preview button to pre-gen the world will also help significantly with performance on lower memory systems.
