Vaguecraft is an Exploration/Hardcore modpack.
Vaguecraft is a modpack for people who wish Minecraft was harder and makes you feel like its the future year 2020, and not 2007.
This Modpack has the following features:
- Enhanced World generation mods (Better Caves, Biomes O'Plenty) for better quality caves and biomes for each base game dimensions, as well as an expansion to the Aether.
- More Dimensions to explore; such as the Atum, a desert world full of loot and baddies, The Aether, a sky realm that is the opposite of the nether, and galacticraft planets, allowing you to conquer and consume the universe like Oryx.
- Quality of life mods to improve looks, sounds, and feel of the game to provide that AAA experience. This includes mods such as JEI for inventory management, Journey Maps for a nice mapless experience, MouseTweaks for scroll-wheel functionality, and Dynamic Surroundings to improve sounds in the world.
- Beginning to midgame magic mods and endgame tech mods. This includes Roots 3 for starting, Astral Sorcery, Thaumcraft for midgame, Advanced Rocketry, and Draconic Evolution to the end.
WARNING: Better Portals is experimental, it most likely will cause a crash once you activate your first portal. After the initial portal is created, it should no longer crash for that world. Also, note that shaders do not work well with this mod, so be aware of glitches/crashes with any shader. Currently removed in later editions until I decide its good enough to return. I might just make another pack for it specifically, who knows?
