VAELORIA Standard

VAELORIA Standard is the recommended lightweight client for the VAELORIA Minecraft RPG server.

This version is designed to provide the best balance between performance, stability and quality-of-life improvements, while keeping the game close to the vanilla Minecraft experience.

It is intended for most players and should work well on a wide range of PC configurations.

What does VAELORIA Standard include?

The modpack mainly focuses on:

• Better performance and smoother gameplay

• Improved rendering efficiency

• Lower RAM and GPU usage where possible

• A minimap and world map for exploration

• Useful quality-of-life features

• Shader support through Iris

• A lightweight setup without unnecessary visual mods

VAELORIA Standard includes mods such as:

• Sodium — improved rendering performance

• Iris Shaders — shader support

• Xaero's Minimap — minimap and waypoints

• Xaero's World Map — full world map

• ImmediatelyFast — rendering optimizations

• FerriteCore — memory optimizations

• Dynamic FPS — reduces resource usage when Minecraft is inactive

• Sodium Extra — additional graphics settings

• Mouse Tweaks — improved inventory controls

• Zoomify — configurable zoom

Recommended VAELORIA experience

VAELORIA Standard is the version recommended for players who want to enjoy the server with:

• good FPS;

• low system impact;

• useful exploration tools;

• a clean and stable client;

• no unnecessary visual overhead.

The modpack does not change the core gameplay of VAELORIA.

All important RPG mechanics, quests, NPCs, economy, items, dungeons and progression are handled by the server.

Optional shaders

Iris is included so players can use shaders if they want to.

Shaders are not required to play VAELORIA and can be disabled at any time for better performance.

Lightweight by design

VAELORIA Standard intentionally avoids heavy graphical additions such as:

• Distant Horizons;

• advanced visual effects;

• large texture enhancements;

• additional animation systems.

A separate, more visually demanding VAELORIA client may be offered later for players with more powerful PCs.

Server compatibility

VAELORIA Standard is designed specifically for the official VAELORIA server.

Players are still able to join VAELORIA without this modpack using a compatible vanilla Minecraft client, but VAELORIA Standard is the recommended way to play.
