The big focus is on the tech mods such as Refined Storage, Mekanism, Thermal Dynamics, Solar Flux Reborn, and Simply Jetpacks.
Additionally there have been added a bit of spice with some magic and exploration mods such as the classic Biomes O' Plenty, Oh the Biomes You'll Go, Botania, and Mystical Agriculture!
Many mods have been added to improve the quality of life while playing the game such as FTB Ultimine, Spice of Life, Quark, and more!
