If you want to play with mods, and want to play with someone who does not like playing with mods, this modpack is probably what you need. Almost no modded content can be stumbled upon without another player, you must seek it out. No mods are very op compared to vanilla, so players who stick to vanilla content probably won't feel left behind.

This modpack has Botania, which is a plant based magic automation mod, The Aether, which adds a dangerous heavenly dimension, Tinker's Construct, which is a modular tool mod, various small tech mods, and Essential, which makes playing with others much easier.

Any modifications to the overworld's, nether's, and end's world generation has been removed, along with any modifications to vanilla loot tables. Any starting items have also been removed.
