Alex's Mobs

Alex's Mobs is a Forge mod that adds 89 new mobs to Minecraft. All of these mobs fall into either two categories: most of them are real world creatures, like Grizzly Bears, Roadrunners, Orcas, etc; but some of them are purely fictional, like the Endergade and Bone Serpent. All of these creatures fulfill a necessary purpose, and either have unique drops, mechanics or functions, as there are no purely aesthetic creatures. That said, they also help make some environments in the game feel more alive. The models, textures, animations and AI are all stylistically compatible with the vanilla game's latest additions.

AppleSkin

Standalone mod providing the HUD features previously included in AppleCore (note: AppleSkin does not require AppleCore). This is a mostly client-side mod, but it needs to be on the server in order to display accurate saturation/exhaustion values on the client.

Bartering Station [Forge & Fabric]

Bartering Station adds one brand new utility block. Put in all of your gold ingots and they'll be given to piglins in the area. All the goodies will automatically be collected in the station block

Better Advancements

Successor to BetterAchievements for the new advancements system in minecraft 1.12+. Better Advancements tries to improve the UI and UX for the advancements system in minecraft 1.12+ in a modded environment. This mod's scope is cosmetic and Quality of Life.

Biomes O' Plenty

Requires TerraBlender for Minecraft 1.18 and above! For 1.17 and below, you must use the Biomes O' Plenty world type when creating a world for biomes to generate (No longer required in 1.18+)! Biomes O' Plenty is an expansive biome mod for Minecraft that adds a slew of new, unique biomes to the Overworld and Nether! To go along with the new biomes, it adds new plants, flowers, trees, building blocks, and much more!

Block Runner [Forge & Fabric]

Block Runner makes you run faster on certain blocks, it's that simple. Mainly useful for paths since dirt paths now actually offer some benefit besides looking fancy. You can even set your very own speed values for any block or block tag.

Blue Skies

Blue Skies adds two dimensions called the Everbright and the Everdawn. It includes lots of new unique features, blocks, weapons, mobs and even massive dungeons! Each dimension has its own theme, with the Everbright being very bright, snowy and cold while the Everdawn is typically darker and warm. Each of these dimensions currently has two dungeons to explore, totaling up to 4 dungeons, with more planned on the way!

Botarium

Botarium is a simple open source API that makes modding on Forge and Fabric easier for devs looking to make tech mods! More specifically, it should help in the creation of blocks and items that hold items, fluids and energy and has a rudimentary transfer api that allows you to interact with other forge and fabric containers.

It also has a variety of utilities, such as a fluid registration api, general registration api, and cross platform api

Caelus API (Forge)

Caelus is a small utility mod that abstracts the hardcoded vanilla elytra behavior into a more generic elytra flight attribute and exposes this to mod developers seeking to implement elytra flight for their own mods.

Citadel

Citadel is a Library mod required for advanced animations and entity properties in 1.14 and beyond. Citadel, being a Library, does not add many features by itself, but rather provides a frame work for other mods when it comes to animating entities, loading .tbl Tabula and .obj Waveront models, and for keeping track of entity properties. Citadel's predecessor, LLibrary, will no longer be updated from 1.12.2, and from now on all of my mods will use Citadel. Citadel's code base is largely derived from LLibrary, and the code is used with permission from Gegy1000, the maintainer of LLibrary and its author in recent versions.

Clumps

Clumps groups XP orbs together into a single entity to reduce lag when there are many in a small area. On top of this, it also makes the player immediately collect the orbs once they touch the player, so you are not stuck with a bunch of orbs in your face.

Collective

Collective is a shared library mod with common code for all of Serilum's mods

Craftable Horse Armour & Saddle [CHA&S]

This mod makes all types of horse armour and the saddle craftable.

Crafting Automat

This mod adds a single block to the game: the Crafting Automat.

• Autocrafts a recipe when it receives a redstone pulse.
• Dispenses the result into any adjacent container.
• Stays true to the vanilla experience.
• Also works like a normal crafting table with persistent inventory.

Curios API (Forge)

Curios is a flexible and expandable accessory/equipment API for users and developers. The purpose is to provide functionality for developers to add extra accessory/equipment slots in a convenient and compatible manner, as well as to give users the ability to configure these slots to their preferences. By default, Curios does not add any content except for an inventory GUI. There are no slots and only two items, the latter only being available through the Creative menu and primarily serving as examples for developers to use when coding their own integration.

Customizable Elytra

Allows Elytra to be dyed and have banners placed onto them, in the same way as leather armor and shields

Distinguished Potions

Distinguished Potions adds a bunch of very useful visual features to help you tell potions apart. No more hovering over every potion in a large chest to find out what exact potion that might be, now you can see everything at a glance!

Durability Tooltip

Durability Tooltip shows you the durability of an item!

Easy Anvils [Forge & Fabric]

Easy Anvils makes working with anvils much more enjoyable. Not only do items stay inside the interface after closing, also some annoying restrictions are removed. Also name tags can be renamed without even using an anvil. And don't forget about using formatting codes when renaming something: Stylize text as you like!

Easy Shulker Boxes [Forge & Fabric]

Easy Shulker Boxes brings some extremely useful changes to shulker boxes, making them usable from directly within your inventory. No need for placing the whole box on the ground for checking contents or adding a few item stacks! When you want to extract an item, easily scroll through all items in the box to get what you want.

And believe it or not, this whole system is driven by data packs! This allows essentially any item to be supported, by default this is the case for ender chests, as well as some selected backpacks and shulker boxes from other mods.

Elytra Slot (Fabric/Forge/Quilt)

Elytra Slot is a mod that uses Curios API/Trinkets API to add an elytra slot to the player inventory and allows the elytra to be placed into this slot. While the elytra is in this slot, it will grant the same flight capabilities as if it was in your chestplate slot. This allows the player to gain the benefits of the elytra without sacrificing an armor slot.

Enchanting Infuser [Forge & Fabric]

Enchanting Infuser adds a brand new block for enchanting your equipment. Say goodbye to wasting your well earned levels on random enchants, and welcome a world of choice with fair costs for you hard-working Minecrafters.

Ender Chested

This mod simply allows any horse to be equipped with an Ender Chest. This allows players to open their ender chest on the go. Provided mods do things right, the chests should even show on modded horses!

Ender Zoology [Forge & Fabric]

Ender Zoology adds a lot new mostly ender themed monsters to spawn at night in the overworld. Most of them are not your usual light hitting vanilla monsters, so be ready to face a new challenge after sunset!

Explorer's Compass

Explorer's Compass is an item that allows you to locate structures anywhere in the world. If you're looking for a compass to locate biomes, check out Nature's Compass.

FallingTree (Forge&Fabric)

This mod will change the way you break trees. 2 modes are available:

Instantaneous: Break one log and the whole tree will fall
Shift down: Break a block and the log will slowly shift down as you cut it (good if you don't want to "cheat" too much but are lazy to go cut top log blocks 😛)
Fall items: Break one log and the whole tree will fall with an animation
Fall blocks: Break one log and the whole tree will fall on the floor with an animation

Golden Hopper

Golden Hopper is a very simple mod that adds, as the mod name states, golden hoppers! They are just like a regular hopper but you can filter which item can be pulled and push. It tries to mimic the classes redstone hopper filtering design by only allowing one item to be filtered and you must also use one of the items in the filter, not just a reference. This mod is intentionally simple to keep the feel of a vanilla game.

GraveStone Mod

Every time you die, a grave is placed at your position. To retrieve your items just break the grave. There is also a config option to get your items back by sneaking on the grave (1.16.3+ only).

Horse Expert

Horse Expert helps you greatly in selecting your trusted steed by showing you all relevant horse statistics. But wait, not just like that! You'll have to craft and equip a monocle first. Then just look at a horse to see what's going on (the horse must be tamed, configurable though). Also works for llamas, with extra information!

Iceberg [Forge]

This mod is a library for other mods, it doesn't do anything by itself.

This library contains new events, helpers, and utilities to make modder's lives easier. Usable on both client and server side, for Forge mods.

This was made to help make my own mods more easily, and so I will only be able to provide limited support if you are using it for your own purposes.

Iron Chest

Iron Chests mod has chests for the various metals in vanilla minecraft with varying sizes!

Iron Furnaces[Forge]

Jade

1.16+: Jade is a fork of HWYLA that includes many additional features and bug fixes. Which means it is incompatible with Hwyla (because it has included it)

Just Enough Items (JEI)

JEI is an item and recipe viewing mod for Minecraft, built from the ground up for stability and performance

Just Enough Resources (JER)

This is the successor of NotEnoughResources.

Lootr (Forge)

What does it do? Each container that has a loot table (supporting chests, trapped chests, barrels, shulkers and minecarts) creates a unique inventory for each player who opens it! These containers also have a distinct appearance, and their colour changes from gold to blue if a player has already opened the container.

Mindful Darkness [Forge & Fabric]

Mindful Darkness adds a fully automatic dark mode to your game! Darkens all guis without any texture changes required. Can be quickly turned on and off directly in-game. You can also choose from different algorithm and control the darkness intensity with ease. Also includes a simple system allowing you to control which textures are affected (see Configuration).

MrCrayfish' Furniture Mod

MrCrayfish's Furniture Mod is all about adding functioning and useful furniture and decorations. You will be able to find furniture for every part of your house, including the kitchen, bedroom, dinning, outdoors, and more! Currently adding over eighty unique blocks, the mod in continuely growing with new updates.

Nature's compass

Nature's Compass is a utility item that allows you to search for a biome's location anywhere in the world and view information about it. If you're looking for a compass to locate structures, check out Explorer's Compass.

Nether Chested [Forge & Fabric]

Nether Chested adds a very unique new chest: Not only has this single chest as many slots as a full double chest, but it can also store way more items in each slot! Every slot can hold up to 8 times as many items as normal of every stackable item. So where any other inventory just stores 64 items in a slot, your new nether chest can store a total of 512.

Open Parties and Claims

The mod is currently in Beta!

This mod adds the ability to claim and to forceload world chunks, as well as create and manage player parties. It also gives server owners powerful controls over their players' usage of the mod's features.

The mod's API allows other mods or plugins to easily interact with the parties and the chunk claims, both on the server and the client side. The mod already integrates with Xaero's Minimap and World Map mods. Make sure to update them to the latest versions.

The API of the mod allows the implementation of player permission systems to be used by the mod for some permission nodes (e.g. for having rank-based claim limits), with Prometheus, FTB Ranks, LuckPerms and the Forge/Fabric permission APIs having built-in support. It also allows the implementation of party systems to be used by claims alongside or instead of the default party system, with Argonauts and FTB Teams having built-in support. The default party system or claims can be disabled completely in the main config file.

OpenBlocks Elevator

Simple port of the elevator from OpenBlocks to 1.8+ (Forge)

Crafting is the same.

There can be blocks between them, they just have to be on the same X and Z.

Stand on the block and jump to go up and crouch to go down.

When directional is enabled, it adjusts your camera when teleporting to it. You can hide the arrow in the GUI.

Camouflage elevators by simply right clicking with any block.

Permanent Sponges [Forge & Fabric]

Permanent Sponges adds some neat new sponges that don't just remove liquids, but also keep them away permanently! Ready to build some crazy underwater cities without ceilings?

Puzzles Lib [Forge & Fabric]

Puzzles Lib is the core library that all my mods need to run. What does it do you ask? Most importantly it offers a bunch of abstractions for mod loader-specific code, which makes it very easy for me to develop all of my mods on multiple mod loaders simultaneously.

Note that Puzzles Lib is specifically designed for my own needs, it is not intended to be used by other developers. Other developers are welcome to adapt my implementations for their own needs though.

Resourceful Config

On forge, we use the official forge config system to make hot reloading possible. As of 1.20 we no longer use Forge's official system as it breaks quite easily.

Resourceful Lib

Resourceful Lib is a modding library that contains valuable utilities and APIs developed by Team Resourceful.

Simple Voice Chat

A proximity voice chat for Minecraft. You can choose between push to talk (PTT) or voice activation. The default PTT key is CAPS LOCK, but it can be changed in the key bind settings. You can access the voice chat settings by pressing the V key.

There is a variety of addons that offer additional features and functionalities.

⚠️ NOTE This mod requires special setup on the server in order to work. Please read the wiki for more information.

Starter Kit

Starter Kit is a mod which allows players who join a world for the first time to receive items set in a config file. It's possible to set items to any specific slot in the inventory, to the offhand and to the armour slots. The mod can detect which players have never joined before. If another mod adds items, such as guide books, they can either be removed completely or added after the kit has been set.

Stoneworks [Forge & Fabric]

Stoneworks fills in all the missing gaps when it comes to building with various vanilla stone blocks! Finally there are cobbled versions, bricks, tiles, pillars, shingles and so much more for all stone variants. And there is more: most variations can even be crafted into stairs, slabs and walls. Everything is crafted in a stonecutter. What are you waiting for? Let's get building!

Structure Gel API

Structure Gel is an API mod designed to make creating structures easier on the developers, specifically ones using the jigsaw system. All code is open source and documented.

SuperMartijn642's Config Lib

SuperMartijn642's Config Lib allows you to specify a config once and it then handles reloading values between world loads, syncing values with clients, and generating values for client- or server-only on its own.

SuperMartijn642's Core Lib

SuperMartijn642's Core Lib adds lots of basic implementations for guis, blocks, tile entities, and network packets that allow for similar code between Minecraft 1.12, 1.14, 1.15, 1.16, 1.17, 1.18, 1.19 and 1.20 and similar code between Fabric and Forge!

Terra Blender (Forge)

TerraBlender is a library mod for adding biomes in a simple and compatible manner with Minecraft's new biome/terrain system.

The Aether

The Aether Team presents the original Aether mod! Maintained and kept up to date for modern versions of Minecraft and fully compatible with multiplayer!

The Aether centers around a dimension high in the sky, filled with vast skylands of clouds and floating islands. This dimension features its own new survival adventure, based around a basic vanilla-esque survival progression that features new ores, mythical mobs, and three perilous dungeons each with their own powerful loot items.

The Twilight Forest

"Imagine stepping through a portal into a twilight realm, filled with trees as far as the eye can see. Breathtaking vistas and amazing discoveries await you around every corner. But beware! Not all denizens of the forest respond to your intrusion lightly,"

The Undergarden

The Undergarden is a dark, subterranean world located deep below the bedrock of the Overworld. The flora here has adapted to their conditions and can grow anywhere, independent of light. Strange creatures call these dark lands home, and are plagued by the invasive Rotspawn, monsters originating from a chaotic, mysterious realm.

Trading Post [Forge & Fabric]

Trading Post adds one simple block, which when used allows you to trade with all villagers in a configurable area at once in a single interface. The table looks really fancy and includes a neat animation when you come close!

Traveler's Backpack

Traveler's backpack is a Minecraft mod, which adds backpacks. All the backpacks come from JavierDarkona's Mod Adventure Backpack and since 1.16 all textures have been completely remade to fit the new style. Furthermore, functionality of backpack has been expanded by various new features. Traveler's Backpack is the official port.

Universal Bone Meal

Universal Bone Meal fills all the missing gaps where bone meal cannot be used, but really should be! All growing behaviors are rather unique, depending on the plant. New behaviors also work with dispensers and can be individually disabled in the config.

Variant Crafting Tables [Forge]

Fed up of how there is only one crafting table? The one that looks like it's based on oak planks. Isn't it weird when you try to make a crafting table out of Nether fungus, and suddenly you have a normal-looking crafting table? Need a Crafting Table that fits with the theme and aesthetics of your house?

Visual Workbench[Forge & Fabric]

Visual Workbench makes items put into a crafting table stay inside. Breaking the block drops everything on the ground, just like you'd expect. Oh, and crafting ingredients as well as the resulting item are also rendered on top. Really fancy if you ask me!

Waystones

This mod adds waystone blocks that the player can return to once they've been activated, either through a Warp Scroll, a rechargeable Warp Stone, or by using an existing waystone to hop from one to the other. It can be used in Survival Mode, for Adventure Maps or on Multiplayer Servers as an alternative to /warp and /home commands. Waystones can be made globally available for all players and a configurable inventory button can be set up to allow warping without any additional items.

When Dungeons Arise - Forge

This mod adds 37 new Dungeons that can spawn in the overworld the structure list is Abandoned Temple, Aviary, Bandit Towers, Bandit Village, Bathhouse, Ceryneian Hind, Coliseum, Fishing Hut, Foundry, Greenwood Pub, Heavenly Challenger, Heavenly Conqueror, Heavenly Rider, Illager Campsite, Illager Fort, Illager Windmill, Illager Corsair, Illager Galley, Infested Temple, Infested Temple, Keep Kayra, Lighthouse, Merchant Campsite, Mechanical Nest, Mining System, Monastery, Mushroom House, Mushroom House, Mushroom Village, Plague Asylum, Scorched Mines,Shiraz Palace, Small Blimp, Thornborn Towers, Typhon, Undead Pirate Ship and Wishing Well

WorldEdit

A Minecraft Map Editor... that runs in-game!
With selections, schematics, copy and paste, brushes, and scripting.
Use it in creative, or use it temporarily in survival.

Xaero's Minimap

Unlike many other minimap mods, Xaero's minimap keeps the aesthetic of vanilla Minecraft, which helps it be a more seamless addition to the game. It is also the first rotating square minimap for Minecraft. Among a wide variety of customization settings, there is an option for a circle-shaped minimap and a separate setting for locking the minimap's rotation (using a direction arrow instead). The minimap can display the surrounding entities, including players, mobs and items, as dots with a custom color or as icons (usually heads). In addition to the default compass directions, you can place your own waypoints that are visible both on the minimap and in the game world. Waypoints help you find previously visited locations or reach specific coordinates, with optional teleportation. The minimap can display the surrounding blocks above ground and below ground (cave mode). These are just some of the features of the mod while there are many more. Please read the "Minimap features" section below for a more complete list. For the purposes of following multiplayer server rules, there are 2 mod editions, full and fair-play, the latter being designed for fair PVP. This mod is mostly client-sided. Installing it on the server side is optional for some additional features like world identification.

Xaero's MiniMap & World Map - Waystones Compatibility [Forge]

This mod is a sucesor of Waystones2Waypoints which creates a Waypoint in the Xaero's World Map and Xaero's Minimap when the player actives a Waystone

Xaero's World Map

Xaero's World Map mod adds a self-writing fullscreen map to your Minecraft client. Works as a separate mod but is a lot better with Xaero's Minimap. The reason why it's available separately is to keep Xaero's Minimap as light-weight as possible. This mod is mostly client-sided. Installing it on the server side is optional for some additional features like world identification.

YUNG's API (Forge)

This is a library mod for some of YUNG's Forge mods. It's basically a collection of shared utility functions and data abstractions.It is required for all YUNG mods on Minecraft 1.16.5+. Check out my CurseForge profile to see all my mods!

YUNG's Better Desert Temples (Forge)

The ultimate upgrade to Minecraft's desert temples! YUNG's Better Desert Temples redesigns vanilla desert temples to be way more exciting, adding a variety of new puzzles, traps, & parkour challenges. And of course, you'll get much better loot than vanilla's desert temples for your troubles!

By default, mining fatigue will be applied to all players in the Better Desert Temple. Once you clear the temple (i.e. kill the pharaoh at the end of the temple), the mining fatigue effect for that temple will be permanently lifted! You can disable this feature in the config. Additionally, you can re-enable vanilla desert temples to spawn alongside Better Desert Temples in the config.

YUNG's Better Dungeons (Forge )

A complete redesign of Minecraft's dungeons like never before. YUNG's Better Dungeons redesigns vanilla dungeons while also adding three new dungeons: Catacombs, Fortresses of the Undead, and Spider Caves!

1.19.2 introduces the Nether Update! Now you can find small Nether dungeons scattered throughout the Nether. Note that this is an extra opt-in feature, meaning you will need to manually enable it in the mod's config.

YUNG's Better Jungle Temples

A complete overhaul of Minecraft's Jungle Temples! YUNG's Better Jungle Temples completely redesigns jungle temples from the ground up, featuring a completely new design, traps, puzzles, and loot!

YUNG's Better Mineshafts (Forge)

This mod completely revamps vanilla abandoned mineshafts, changing them from boring straight lines into dynamic, varied webs of tunnels.
Find loot tucked away in the corners of abandoned workstations, or out in the open in a chest on a minecart.

YUNG's Better Nether Fortresses (Forge)

A complete overhaul of Minecraft's Nether fortresses! YUNG's Better Nether Fortresses completely redesigns Nether fortresses from the ground up. Compared to vanilla, Better Fortresses are much larger, more complex, and more rewarding. Each fortress is comprised of three parts — the bridge networks, the Keep, and the Lava Halls that extend deep underground.

YUNG's Better Nether Fortresses also includes built-in Create compatibility! If you're using Create for Forge, certain parts of the fortress have a chance of spawning using Create pieces. Note that this is an optional feature — Create is not required to run this mod. Be sure to use the latest release of Create for your Minecraft version! Note that this is for 1.19.2+ only.

YUNG's Better Ocean Monuments (Forge)

A complete overhaul of Minecraft's ocean monuments! YUNG's Better Ocean Monuments fundamentally redesigns ocean monuments to be much more engaging and rewarding. Better Monuments are much larger than their vanilla counterparts and have completely randomized layouts. You'll find much better loot for your troubles, including Tridents and a Heart of the Sea!

YUNG's Better Stongholds (Forge)

A complete redesign of Minecraft strongholds like never before, making them much more complex and exciting while still staying true to vanilla themes. There are over 15 different rooms, various types of tunnels and hallways, staircases, traps, and even hidden areas!

YUNG's Better Witch Huts (Forge)

An upgrade to witch huts! This mod adds multiple new hut variants that can spawn as well as a witch's circle. Huts now have better designs and more meaningful loot. Brewing stands may contain items hinting at some of vanilla's potion recipes!

By default, vanilla witch huts will no longer spawn. You can re-enable them in the config.
