New: Vein Mining enchantment

• Added Vein Mining 1.1.2+1.19.2. This is an earned enchantment, not a free starting ability.
• Three configured levels: I / II / III, mining up to 16 / 32 / 48 connected matching blocks, including the first block. Search distance also scales with the level.
• No enchantment means no vein mining. FTB Ultimine remains disabled through the pack's server defaults.
• Sneak while mining to activate it by default. Activation behavior can be changed in the client configuration.
• Requires an appropriate harvesting tool. Additional blocks consume tool durability and hunger; bulk mining stops near the durability limit. The initial normal block break can still wear out a nearly broken tool.
• Drops are collected at the starting location. Built-in material-specific Forge tag groups support matching vanilla and modded ores, including tin, osmium, uranium and zinc.
• The enchantment is eligible for enchanting tables, books, librarian trades and compatible loot generation. It is configured as rare, with increasing enchanting costs for higher levels. Fortune, Silk Touch and Mending are not explicitly blacklisted by this enchantment.
• Updated the existing Nice to Know → Vein mining guide without changing the quest ID, completion state, rewards or progression links.

Identity: six bird animations

• Added UMC Identity Bird Animation Fix 0.2.0 through a CurseForge manifest reference, not a bundled JAR.
• Supports Hummingbird, Bald Eagle, Blue Jay, Crow, Toucan and Shoebill.
• Restores flight poses and wing animation on Identity render models. Hummingbird retains its hovering pose; the other five fold their wings on the ground, in water and while riding. Jumping and falling also use an airborne pose.
• Preserves existing Identity updaters. Does not start mob AI or alter normal wild birds.
• When upgrading a manually modified profile, remove Hummingbird Fix 0.1.0 first: both versions share the same internal mod ID and must not be installed together.
• Client-side correction: every viewer needs the addon to see the corrected animation. The server does not need this addon.
• Includes the previously prepared flight tags for Hummingbird, Dragonfly and Shima Enaga, retaining the Productive Bees entries.
• Identity menu-preview models are outside the scope of this correction. This patch does not change flight speed or unlock additional transformation types.

Paired doors — candidate configuration

• Forces Quark's normal double-door handler on despite its UtilitiX overlap rule, and disables UtilitiX's competing handler.
• Keeps Dramatic Doors installed and its short/tall-door Quark integration enabled.
• Intended behavior: matching, correctly paired ordinary doors open and close together; sneaking retains Quark's single-door interaction behavior.
• All-door coverage is not yet complete or verified. Special mechanisms such as Ad Astra airlocks, PneumaticCraft doors, protected SecurityCraft doors and redstone-only doors need separate validation or integration. No protection or authentication checks have been bypassed.

Existing fixes retained

• Preserves the tested ModernFix setting that resolves the PFM/JEI crash: mixin.perf.faster_texture_loading=false.
• Preserves the existing UMC menu background and upper-left logo.
• No existing manifest mod has been upgraded or removed. Existing quests, recipes, world generation and loot tables are retained, apart from the guide text described above.
• No world, player, inventory or quest reset is part of this update.

Installation and release status

• Vein Mining must be installed on both the server and clients. Apply the server-side configuration during a planned restart before players use the updated client pack.
• Existing worlds may have per-world configuration overrides; check these during deployment rather than relying on fresh-world defaults alone.
• The live server has not been changed or restarted while preparing this candidate.
• The bird addon's 86 automated bytecode/model-call checks pass. These use test doubles and are not a complete Forge startup or a visual multiplayer test. In-game visual checks and Vein Mining/Apotheosis interaction checks remain part of the Beta test plan.
