Ultra Distant Horizons 1.1.3 Performance Improvements: Optimizations were made to improve overall performance, addressing concerns about the modpack's demanding nature. While the modpack still requires a good CPU, resource demands are now more manageable.
Chunks should now load faster. Performance tests show noticeable improvements in many scenarios. Some conflicts with V-Sync persist; it is recommended to disable V-Sync in some cases.
