NOTE YOU WILL NEED TO ADD OPTIFINE TO THE MOD FOLDER,
You will have to go to optifine.net and download the latest version for 1.17.1 then go to the Curseforge launcher and click the three buttons next to the Modpack then click "Open Folder"

then put optifine in the mod folder.

You may need to run the pack first before a mod folder appears, then you can put Optifine in there.
