The Ultimate Apocalypse 💀🧟♂️
Welcome to The Ultimate Apocalypse — a world where death is constant, safety is an illusion, and the undead never stop watching.
Originally created for me and my brother, this modpack throws you into a collapsing world consumed by infection and endless zombie hordes. The sun offers little comfort, and when night falls, survival becomes a desperate struggle. With terrifying mods like TACZ, Bloodmoon, and Infection, every sound could be your last warning.
Your mission is nearly impossible: slay the Ender Dragon and conquer every boss from Bosses’ Rise before the apocalypse swallows the world whole. Zombies grow stronger, blood moons turn nights into massacres, and a single mistake can doom everything you’ve built.
You are granted unlimited lives, but don’t let that fool you — death is frequent, violent, and unforgiving.
For those who crave true terror, Hardcore Mode awaits.
⚠️ Enter at your own risk: You WILL die unless you have nerves of steel, perfect aim, and the will to keep going.
For the most balanced and immersive experience, Survival Mode is strongly recommended.
This is not just a modpack.
It’s a countdown to extinction.
The Ultimate Apocalypse — survive the horror… or become part of the horde!
players can find loot in different structures (compatable with TACZ)
gear up with guns and military armor

make your way to the nether where you can find plenty of bosses (as you can see it is hot in the Nether, meaning you must wear proper gear before you enter. The temperature/thirst bar comes from the Tough As Nails mod)

find epic gear by either killing bosses or finding them

find abandoned citys with TONS of loot but TONS of Zombies waiting for breakfast

Fortify your last safe haven and turn it into a fortress against the endless dead. Descend into abandoned bunkers, scavenge forgotten supplies, and loot ruined cities where danger lurks around every corner. Trust no one — villagers are no longer innocent, and desperation may force you to mug, raid, or abandon them just to see another sunrise.
Every bullet counts. Every decision matters. The world is broken, and survival demands sacrifice.
So ask yourself — will you hide in fear, or rise against the apocalypse?
There is no time left to wait. The hordes are coming, the blood moons will rise, and the end is inevitable.
Join the fight. Embrace the chaos. Download today and face The Ultimate Apocalypse.
FAQ (no one asked me these questions but I'll answer them anyway):
Q: Any resource packs?
A: Most definitly! Install Tissous' Zombie pack, Fresh Animations, and Apocalypse Gui (optional).
Q: Why does my screen turn green?
A: It's because you have been infected! Craft the vaccine. You can see the recipe for it in the JEI.
Q: Why is my screen glitchy?
A: Are you near an active end portal or nether portal? If so, Immersive Portals causes this issue. There is no way to fix it currently so I suggest you to build a Portal far away from your base.
Q: Why is my game laggy?
A: It's because you loaded too many chunks. Best fix is to disconnect then reconnect.
Q: Why don't I heal?
A: Natural regen is disabled. Heal up using bandages, morphine, and disinfectant cloth.
Q: 1.20.2+?
A: No
Q: Fabric?
A: No
Q: Why are there no cities?
A: Make sure to customize your world preset to generate them. You can find the city template generators from ChaosZ discord.
Q: What are the best survival tips?
A: I don't want to give too much hints but here are a few:
- Always carry a gun
- Leaning can be crutial, change the keybinds to your side mouse buttons for better control
- Make sure you have the right gear on depending on your biome. (e.g. guillie armour for hot climates, wool armour for cold ones)
- Carry plenty of water
- Make turrets to defend you base from zombies, make traps using the Simply Traps mod to defend your base from any mob, and use technology from Security Craft to defend your valuables.
- Most of the "junk" you find in cities from the Survival Instinct mod can actually be useful when put everything together.
- Lastly, if you are really bad at the game, hop in Creative mode to test out all the things. (Only do this if you're really bad at survival)
(This modpack was not tested in Multiplayer yet so there may be bugs. I've played it in Singleplayer only so far and it was a blast. If you have any issues or suggestions for mods, you can tell me in the comments)
