This modpack is a heavily inspired take on the classic DeceasedCraft-style zombie survival experience, built specifically with our Minecraft server community in mind. It takes the core ideas that make that kind of post-apocalyptic survival pack so enjoyable—overwhelming hordes, scavenging, exploration, progression, powerful equipment, base building, and the constant pressure of surviving in a hostile world—and reshapes them into a more accessible and server-friendly experience.
While the pack draws significant inspiration from an existing zombie-survival formula, it is not intended to be a one-to-one recreation. The goal is to take that foundation and tailor it around what works best for our server, including different gameplay tweaks, configuration changes, progression adjustments, and quality-of-life improvements.
A major focus of this project is making the experience more enjoyable for our players without completely removing the challenge. A number of the pack's configurations are being adjusted to reduce unnecessary grind and frustration. This may include changes to loot availability, crafting requirements, progression speeds, mob behavior, resource acquisition, equipment balance, and other mechanics that can become tedious during long-term multiplayer play. These changes are being made with the understanding that a server pack needs to accommodate multiple playstyles and schedules rather than assuming every player can dedicate hours every day to progression.
The result is intended to feel familiar to anyone who enjoys large-scale zombie survival modpacks, while offering a somewhat more forgiving and multiplayer-focused experience. The difficulty is still there—the goal is simply to make the time players spend on the server feel worthwhile.
As development continues, configurations and gameplay systems may be adjusted based on player feedback, server performance, and how the pack actually plays in a multiplayer environment. The pack is ultimately being developed around our community, with the philosophy that survival should be dangerous and rewarding without becoming unnecessarily tedious.
