This is a modpack that I am creating for the use with a server that I will be hosting for some friends. I think starting out with something like this would be a nice and easy way for them to get used to Minecraft since some of them are still new to the game! With some of the mods that I have thrown in here people will be able to make amazing builds with Mr. Crayfish and a few other of more decorating and immersive style of mods and with the Pixelmon mod You can host challenges, gym trials or other styles of events for a server full of friends!
