MC Tycoon turns Minecraft into a living economy sandbox — a persistent city where almost nothing is crafted, everything is bought and sold, and your money can come from as many legal (or illegal) directions as you're willing to explore.
Economy & Trading
- Physical currency (bills and coins), bank accounts, and interest-bearing savings books
- Dozens of trader blocks covering nearly every obtainable vanilla item — buy and sell instead of crafting
- A live stock market with four industries, a player-run company system (found your own firm, issue shares, pay dividends), and a full crypto exchange with a 20-coin market
- A trading card game economy with hundreds of real cards, booster packs, and condition grading
Real Estate
- Admin-carved land claims that can be bought or leased
- A full apartment rental system (landlords, tenants, eviction, resale) and its commercial counterpart, rentable offices — including office space companies can rent for their employees
- A skill tree where the skills that actually make you rich cost real money, while basic gathering skills stay cheap (your first one is even free, so every new player can get started)
A City With Real Consequences
- A wanted-level and police system with chases, jail, and escapes
- A full illegal economy: cannabis cultivation and dealing, unlicensed/serial-removed weapons, and NPC dealers and customers with their own preferences and loyalty
- Land protection that actually holds up — claims, apartments, and offices are protected from grief (block breaking, fluid griefing, pistons, and more), and murder (of a player or an NPC) has real consequences
- A dedicated Large Biomes dimension as the one place resource gathering is always unrestricted
Living NPCs
- TownFolk residents who move into apartments, hold jobs, shop, and can become customers (or victims) of the illegal economy
- Police officers, dealers, and weapon dealers, each with their own AI and role in the city

A note on transparency: This modpack is an active work in progress. Many custom item and block textures are currently placeholders generated with AI image tools, not final hand-made art — expect them to be replaced over time. Development of the custom mod itself was also done with AI coding assistance. If
that's not for you, no hard feelings — but we wanted to be upfront about it rather than hide it.
