As of Release 1.11f and after, this is a slightly harder "medium weight" vanilla+ pack encouraging exploration and adventure. It's a vanilla+ 1.16.3 minecraft but with more biomes, huge caves, and challenging creatures who can be defeated easier with tactics and planning than if you just stand and beat on them. Some things get harder as you get farther from spawn.

Note: To remove the red "X" on the sign in screen disable this mod on your client.

I have removed most mods that caused a red X but this one is unique due to the improvement in atmosphere that it brings.

You may want to rename it back to a jar file after confirming you are in agreement with the host server. I'm hoping they will recompile with the line of code that stops this soon.

There are monsters at night... and bed time's not til a few hours after dark. The ground is harder and it's more exhausting to mine at depths but the ore itself is as soft as always. Villagers are a bit more clever and will upgrade and improve their cities. Caving is encouraged and there are some mammoth caves out there. There are also ruins of a lost civilization all over the land with valuable lost ancient magics.

You can dye your iron, chain, and diamond, netherite, and redstone magic armor any color you want and you can hide the enchantment glow on armor and weapons making pvp concealment a easier and more room for self expression.

TwoGuysModpack is a medium weight modpack based around adventure, exploration, and city building (once mine colonies is tested/stable in 1.16.3 it will be added). It has reached its maximum size until mine colonies runs well with it. Eventually we'd like to add mine colonies.

It will include the mods which we have written plus a few we want to play with our friends. Over time we will add a few more mods as we write them plus a few more that we want to play.

The world balance is being set by a team with decades of gaming experience. It should be hard and strategies and tactics will matter.

This pack is now stable and finished with primary pack development..

Remaining planned development includes a boss mob with minions encounter and the ability to duel other players in an otherwise PVE environment.

Recommendation-- you may want to carry both a smite weapon and a sharpness weapon. At some point in the future, you may want to carry a Bane of Arthropods weapon too!
