A mixture of mods, aiming not to add too much to Vanilla, instead pushing 'realism' in an RLCraft sort of style. However, rather than all-out insanity, this pack aims to create the right level of fear while remaining playable (i.e. not too hard, but challenging). The dark is not your friend.
This pack adds mods like Ambient Environment, Dynamic Surroundings and Realistic Torches to make the world feel more immersive and realistic. Alongside that, there's mods like First Aid, Tough as Nails, Weeping Angels, Camo Creepers, and Epic Siege to increase the difficulty, though the latter is tuned so as to not make the pack unplayable. There's also a bunch of quality of life mods to make the pack fun, such as Quark, JEI/JER, JourneyMap, etc. There are a few Vanilla+ type mods, like Yung's Better Dungeons/Mineshafs/Strongholds and Comforts. Finally there are mods which make the pack actually scary, like Eyes in the Darkness, Enhanced Celestials (Blood Moon, etc), Zombie Awareness, and True Darkness.
I've also included a set of configured shaders which significantly contribute to the atmosphere.
In short: the world is immersive, you need to look after your health carefully, mobs are smarter, most things want to kill you (some of which you won't even see), and the darkness itself is out to get you. Oh, and your torches burn out. Good luck.
You should be in for a psychological horror experience with this pack.
