The True Hadal Veil is the official modpack built around Hadal Veil, expanding Minecraft into a richer world of exploration, survival, discovery and progression — above and below the surface.

The adventure does not begin in the Abyss.

Before descending into the unknown, you will explore a more alive Overworld, discover new structures, encounter expanded wildlife, travel through improved Nether and End environments, build your base, prepare your equipment and shape your own journey.

And eventually, you may begin to wonder what lies beneath the ocean.

Because the deeper you go, the less familiar the world becomes.

The True Hadal Veil expands the vanilla experience without replacing its identity.

Explore a world enhanced with new structures, improved villages, expanded dungeons, richer biomes, additional wildlife, aquatic life and countless environmental details.

Mods such as Supplementaries, Amendments, Ecologics, Explorify, Repurposed Structures, Towns and Towers and several of YUNG's world-generation improvements make exploration worthwhile long before the true depths are reached.

Minecraft's oceans have been expanded into ecosystems worth exploring.

Fish, wildlife, ships, fishing systems and underwater content make the sea an important part of the world rather than empty space between continents.

But the familiar ocean is only the surface.

At the heart of the modpack is Hadal Veil, an underwater exploration and survival mod inspired by the mysteries of Earth's deepest oceans and exploration-driven experiences such as Subnautica.

Eventually, your journey may take you somewhere far deeper.

🎧 AN ATMOSPHERIC EXPERIENCE

Atmosphere is one of the most important parts of Hadal Veil.

The modpack combines environmental audio, positional sound effects, additional particles, improved animations and shader support to create a world that feels more alive both above and below the ocean.

Three shader options are included for different hardware and visual preferences:

Low Hadal Shaders
A lightweight option designed specifically with the Hadal Veil experience in mind.

Complementary Reimagined
The recommended balance between visuals and performance.

Bliss
A more cinematic alternative for systems capable of handling it.

Shaders are optional.

The darkness below is not.

⚡ PERFORMANCE MATTERS

A larger world should not automatically mean a worse-running game.

The True Hadal Veil includes a collection of performance and memory optimizations intended to improve rendering, world exploration, loading and general stability.

Tools for profiling and world pregeneration are also included for players and server owners who want additional control over their experience.

Performance will naturally vary depending on hardware, shaders, render distance and world settings.

Hadal Veil remains the heart of the modpack.

The supporting mods were selected to make the journey surrounding it richer rather than replace it.
