Highlights
This mod focusses on quick progression, exploration of new worlds and optimizing your automation.
Project E
Lets you convert any item into whatever other item.
This mod resembles Equivalent Exchange 2 (EE2).
You find yourself 8000+ cobblestone? why not convert it into a nice blue stone?
Hell you could even setup an nice EMC* collection flower and make diamonds out of thin air, or lightsources to be exact.
*EMC, this is the energie every item in minecraft gets assigned to it. like above example, a cobblestone is 1 EMC, while a diamond is 8192 EMC. Project E lets you convert the two freely.
Tinkers Construct
This mod lets you create your own supertools.
Combine any material with each other to create a pickaxe that hurts when you use it, but smelts items while mining.
Or create one of the custom tools, like hammers that mine a 3x3 at a time.
Loggers will chop down etire trees at once!
Mystcraft
Getting tired of the standard dimentions minecraft provides?
Why not create your own, with Mystcraft.
Explore the world to find pages that let you design your own world.
But watch out for curruption, or it might not last very long!
Biomes O' Plenty
Adds alot of new biomes to the game, these biomes can also be added to your own worlds.
