TREPIDATION:ZERO is a full rebuild of the original HTF modpack TREPIDATION! TREP:ZERO takes the original ideas and builds on them with more focus on playability on multiplayer and singleplayer experiences. Fitted with custom town generation coming in the full 1.0 release, TREP:ZERO offers a horror survival experience like no others, whether alone or with friends.

In Trepidation, players go 1v1 with their worst fears in a unique survival experience where players are forced to strategize during the day, and hold down the fort during the night with what resources they have. Maintaining your sanity and staying alive should be top priority, killing and protecting yourself from mobs and the darkness.

Trepidation has a customized Chocapic13 shader by Espen69 [Loop] that is tuned to fit the horror aspect, with fog that prevents far vision at night preventing players to see even the closest of mobs. Using a flashlight or a torch is the only way to see in the night, giving yourself the advantage of seeing mobs in front of you. But during the day, the shader still manages to capture the beauty of the world, rewarding them with light and comfort by surviving the night.
