Recompile 0.18.0: a drained aquarium with a guardian still in one tank, tire dumps that are the only rubber in the world, and a Pump recipe that changed underneath anyone who already has a save.

• Cable Facades. Cover a cable or pipe with a facade and it reads as the block around it, so a run of conduit through a wall stops looking like a run of conduit. It moves nothing and creates nothing. It covers five of the mods already here: AE2, Ender IO, LaserIO, Pipez and Powah. The recipe wants wool, so expect to be running cable for a long time before you can hide any of it - the dyes it also asks for are easy, but there is no wool in the trash and a sheep is not a first-week animal.

• Recompile 0.18.0. A drained municipal aquarium stands out in the demolition yard, seven rooms of it, and it is the only prismarine, coral, sponge and sea lantern in the world. One tank still holds water and there is a guardian in it, which is what makes that whole family renewable instead of a fixed stock. A dead coral put in a Hydroponics Bay comes back alive, and the bay never eats its seed. Tires are tipped in heaps across the household sprawl, some of them burning and staying that way whatever the weather; break one by hand for the tire, with a Scrap Knife for the rubber, or carry it home and tear it down for three rubber and the steel belts the knife cannot reach. The Pump wants Rubber Scrap where it wanted Plastic Scrap, so check the sheet before you go hunting for plastic. A Dried Bouquet out of household waste rehydrates on a water cauldron into one of the four tall flowers or a large fern, none of which had any source here before. Tree Nurseries take hoppers and pipes on both doors now, which is what makes a tree farm possible at all.
• One routine mod bump: Modonomicon, the guidebook engine. The NeoForge pin stayed at 26.1.2.100; nothing raised its floor.
• Extreme Sound Muffler stayed at 3.58.1. The newest file is still a 4.x alpha.

Fixed

• Walls connect to each other. All five wall blocks - pressed junk, scrap plating, corrugated metal, cardboard and plastic panel - were missing from the tag a wall reads to know its neighbour is a wall, so a row of them stood as separate posts. Reported from playtest.

Known gaps

• The quest book does not cover Recompile 0.18.0. The aquarium, the guardian tank, tire dumps, rubber and the Dried Bouquet all ship with no quest pointing at them. JEI and the in-game guidebook do document them. No quest text went stale: the book teaches the Pump twice and never names its ingredients, so the Rubber Scrap swap reads correctly as written.

Heads up if you already have a world

The aquarium and the tire dumps only turn up in ground that has not been generated yet. One is a structure and the other is a worldgen feature, so a save made before this update has neither anywhere you have already walked. Nothing breaks; you have to travel out past your explored edge.

That matters more than it normally would, because the Pump recipe changed and rubber only comes from tires. The recipe reaches your existing save the moment you load it: the sheet asks for Rubber Scrap in the bottom cell where it asked for Plastic Scrap. Tires are the only source of rubber and tire dumps are new terrain, so on an old save you cannot craft a Pump until you have walked out to fresh ground. Tearing down a washing machine from Bulky Waste still hands you a whole Pump, which is the way around it in the meantime. Plastic Scrap is not orphaned - it still builds the Cutting Torch, the Plastic Panel and the Rain Collector Funnel.
