Trashlands 0.10.0
What's new
Recompile 0.15.0: spawn eggs pulled out of the rubbish, a second frontier region, and Powah startable for the first time. The loader pin moved with it.
Changed
- Recompile 0.15.0. Amber turns up in household waste with an insect in it, the Sequencer reads the creature out of it, and four fragments make a Blueprint that crafts a spawn egg - the only spawn eggs in the world, and the only way to put an animal on a plain that has none. A second frontier region, the radioactive dump, sits at onset 1024 with mill tailings that drop raw uraninite, so Powah can be started here for the first time. AE2 got four routes to certus, fluix, silicon and sky stone, which is the half that was missing when v0.9.0 shipped the presses. Breeze rods come from four gunpowder pressed and fired in the kiln, with no trial chamber involved.
- NeoForge pin raised from 26.1.2.94 to 26.1.2.100. JEI 29.34.0.90 requires
[26.1.2.99,)and a mod whose floor sits above the pin does not warn, it just refuses to load. If you keep an instance by hand, change its loader build or you will be playing without JEI. - Eight routine mod bumps: JEI, FTB Quests, ModernFix, FancyMenu, Functional Storage, Inventory Essentials, Sophisticated Core, SuperMartijn642's Core Lib.
- Extreme Sound Muffler stayed at 3.58.1. The newest file is a 4.x alpha and muffling is not worth an alpha's crash risk.
Known gaps
- The quest book does not cover any of this yet. The four chapters stop where v0.9.0 left them: amber, the Sequencer, spawn eggs, the radioactive dump and the AE2 material routes all ship with no quest pointing at them. JEI and the in-game guidebook do document them.
- Nobody has played this. A Recompile major, eight other mod bumps and a new loader build, none of them launched by a person. The pack builds, boots, generates the right world and validates its book, which is not the same thing.
Fixed
- A held mod pin and a dependency floor are both guarded now. Extreme Sound Muffler's hold lived
in a doc that
packwiz update --allcannot read, and the dependency audit checked that a required mod was present without checking it was new enough. Both run on every PR and at release.
