TPack Mini

A modpack for friends focused on magic and machines

This modpack has significantly less mods to attempt to allow more players to effectively run it and is intended for multiplayer usage, but it can be played in single player. TPack Mini's selection of mods focuses on two categories of Minecraft mods: magic and machines.

Among the several magic mods is Botania, which bases its magic off of nature by utilizing flowers that generate mana for a variety of purposes. Botania provides not only new additions to combat, including armor and weapons, but also ways to improve quality of life through the use of its functional flowers. If you're looking for a more traditional wizard-style mod, Ars Nouveau provides the aesthetic and spells that are probably more aligned with that desired gameplay. Blood Magic is another magic mod in TPack Mini that lets players go down a darker version of exploring magic and allows for more variety as another option versus the other big name magic mods, intended to keep a small friend group's experience interesting. A few other magic mods for 1.18.2 are in the pack as well, intended to provide different paths of magic to choose from or expand current mods, like MythicBotany's expansion of Botania.

The technology-focused mods in TPack Mini are spearheaded by the Thermal Series and Mekanism. Both utilize energy production from their respective mods to allow the players to carry out processes, such as Mekanism's multi-step refining for increased return on your ores. These mods provide the opportunity to improve quality of life in gameplay through automation and to build machines that allow players to produce more items for their use. Other mods, like Industrial Foregoing, come alongside these two giants to create an enjoyable experience for players who seek this type of content and even aid the production of materials for other mods.

The "outlier" of this modpack, yet one of the reasons why this modpack was made in version 1.18.2, is Tinkers Construct. For those who do not know of it, it is a mod that changes crafting and smelting for a customizable armory. It provides new materials, like alloys and sky slime, which can be used in the forging of diverse weapons, diverse tools, and armor. As a favorite, this mod is one of the main ones for TPack Mini.

The rest of the mods are intended for quality of life, adventure, and game performance. Some notable mods are L_Ender's Cataclysm and Farmer's Delight. L_Ender's Cataclysm was added to provide another challenge in the form of bosses for players who use this modpack, and it provides an aesthetic but intimidating presence to the Minecraft world. Farmer's Delight, on the other hand, allows for a more interesting experience on the lighter side of Minecraft by expanding the culinary aspects. If having or roleplaying a picnic in Minecraft with your friends is your cup of tea (pun intended, unfortunately), the TPack Mini provides that experience to go along with the rest of the modpack.

TPack Mini aims to provide a enjoyable experience of modded Minecraft for groups of friends and reduce the chance of exclusion of players by using less mods if possible. It is light on the side of game performance mods, however; if this modpack were to be updated, the addition of those kinds of mods are likely to happen if some players find the performance to be unenjoyable. Though there are many mods which I'd like to add to this modpack, those mods may be used in a future modpack that isn't intended to be so small.
