Top Five is an idea i got while playing with my group of friends. We play a lot of different modpacks and they're great in their own way but we always feel like one aspect of Minecraft is lacking. I decided to poll my friends that play and ask them for their favorite 5 mods in Minecraft. I added those, some quality of life mods, and a sprinkle of some new mods that were recently updated to release status and this is the result!
What aspects are covered, you ask?
Magic:
Bewitchment, Blood Magic, Botania, Demesne, Divine Favor, Evilcraft, and Reliquary with some respective addons.
Tech:
Actually Additions, Construct's Armory, Ender IO, Extra Utilities, Extreme Reactors, Flux Networks, Industrial Craft, Mekanism, Railcraft, RF Tools, Thermal Suite, and Tinkers Construct with some respective addons.
Exploration:
Advent of Ascension, Biomes O' Plenty, Chance Cubes, Charm, Improvable Skills 3, Minecolonies, Minecraft Comes Alive, Natura, NetherEx, Nether Dungeons, RF Dimensions, Roguelike Dungeons, and Worley's Caves.
Utility/Storage:
AE2, Bonsai Trees, Compact Storage, Cyclic, Culinary Construct, Mob Grinding Utilities, Prefab, Portal Gun, and Traveller's Backpack.
Of course, the usual quality of life mods are included as well for your playing pleasure! Mods that add graves to protect your inventory, chunk claiming/loading, fast leaf decay, and right-click harvesting just to name a few. Feel free to take a look at the dependencies for a complete list of the pack!
In addition, configs have been edited to stop duplicate types of ores from spawning. Unidict is used to make sure one type of copper ingot can be used for all copper recipes, for instance!
So give the pack a download, explore an unlimited amount of dimensions, delve into the worlds of magic and tech, interact with villagers in a unique and rewarding way, and most importantly, have fun playing a well-rounded Minecraft Modpack!
