Tooniverse Universe

Adorable textures for fun and friendly building with greater creative potential than vanilla.

House Oakenfold

What Is This?

This modpack is designed to make the absolute best of the Tooniverse Resourcepack by daft_vader_. The version of the resource pack used here is the free version, which is the most minimalist variant of the resourcpack available. Even so, it is spectacular. Super cute. Makes me feel at-peace and safe after a long day of dealing with real life. I made this modpack because I wanted to share a minecraft experience that is fun, friendly, safe, and creative, for all ages.

The modpack contains exactly 50 mods. These mods fall into a few categories, but the most important ones are the ones that expand player build options. These mods provide elegant, simple, obvious, and user-friendly block expansions to the game, that rely on vanilla texture references, which makes them compatiable with virtually any and all resourcepack. Additionally, I have a few quality of life mods, like Configured, just in case the settings I release the modpack with are not quite working for your machine. The rest are just bugfixes and libraries.

FAQ

Will you make a version-blah.bl.ah of this modpack?

Probably not. Some of the mods this depends on simply don't exist together outside of 1.19.2. I mean, if you can help me find equivalents that keep it within the 50 mod cap for this project, feel free to send me the suggestions and I'll try it, but at the end of the day, this is really just a fancy list of other people's stuff. Nothing stopping you from releasing your own, yeh?

Are you promoting the paid version of the resourcepack?

I mean, I have it, but no. The free version is absolutely all you need to experience and enjoy this modpack. I played it that way for years before I decided to buy it out of sheer fanaticism. The aim is that young children who play this modpack can have more fun without worry of the game becoming more violent/scary than the creepers already make it. That shouldn't cost money.

Can you add such-and-such mod by so-and-so?

Only if it does a better job of the stated goals than something that's already here. Like, I could probably drop some of the QOL stuff if something was a real game-changer.

Wait, wouldn't this work with pretty much ANY resource pack?

I mean, kinda, yeah, But most extensive resource packs use textures in the 16x space anyways, which means they inherently will look better with most mod assets as long as they aren't dramatically outside of the default color palette or pixel style. This really only makes sense for resource packs that make a huge sweeping change in the very nature of the textures, like adding surface details to blocks, or upscaling to higher resolution.
