Tiganj

Tiganj is a dark fantasy RPG modpack for Minecraft 1.20.1, built around brutal combat, dangerous exploration, cinematic boss fights, magic, progression, and survival in a world that does not want you to win.

This pack turns Minecraft into a heavier action-adventure experience where every fight matters, every structure can be a mistake, and every upgrade feels earned.

Explore ruined kingdoms, cursed forests, ancient dungeons, hostile dimensions, forgotten fortresses, underground horrors, and boss arenas hidden across a world full of danger and reward.

Combat is faster, harsher, and far more punishing than vanilla Minecraft. Enemies are stronger, bosses are unforgiving, and survival depends on timing, preparation, equipment, and progression.

You will level up, reforge gear, discover relics, learn magic, choose races and classes, build around attributes and skills, and slowly turn a fragile survivor into something capable of standing against the nightmares waiting beyond the next ruin.

But Tiganj is not here to be gentle.

Somewhere nearby, a dungeon is already waiting.
Somewhere underground, something too strong for your current gear is moving.
And your first night may already be asking too much.

What To Expect

Tiganj is not a casual vanilla-style pack.

Expect a hostile world, stronger enemies, slower early progression, dangerous nights, large dungeons, and fights that punish rushing in unprepared. Exploration is rewarding, but it is also risky.

You are meant to struggle at first.

You are meant to prepare.

You are meant to come back stronger.

Current Status

Tiganj is actively being tested and improved. The pack is playable, but balance, configs, stability, quests, and mod interactions are still being refined with each update.

Please report crashes, missing dependencies, broken progression, balance issues, or strange mod interactions in the comments. Crash reports and latest.log files are especially helpful.

Required Dependency

Tiganj uses Tiganj Core, the official compatibility and stability helper mod for this pack.

Tiganj Core contains small targeted fixes for crashes and mod interaction issues found during testing. It does not add gameplay content, blocks, items, mobs, dimensions, or progression systems. It exists only to help keep the modpack stable while important RPG, combat, exploration, and UI mods remain enabled.

If you are playing through CurseForge, required dependencies should be handled automatically.

• Multiplayer: Supported, still being tested
• Shaders: Included as part of the intended dark RPG atmosphere
