⚙️ Main Idea: When Machinery Saves Nature The core gameplay and philosophy of "Through the Roots" is not about abandoning technology for the sake of farming, but rather achieving a clever symbiosis between the two. Early in the game, machinery, gears, and pipes (powered by the Create mod and other tech add-ons) serve merely to process ore and sustain the bleak existence of the gray city. However, your primary goal is to make cold mechanics "befriend" living nature. You will utilize urban engineering knowledge to build irrigation systems, automate seed processing, and restore the soil. Here, machinery is not the enemy of the environment, but the primary instrument of its rebirth!
