A hardcore survival experience. Now working as intended!
Makes use of notreepunching/hot iron/butchery to make progression inentionally laborious.
If you're like me, you probably wander your fresh spawn for an hour looking for a place to set up... Yeah, I hate it too. This will likely change that.
Go get some flint or find some bones, and get yourself a knife. You'll need it.
- "I can punch this tree down!" No you can't. Go make an axe first.
- Some metal and a stick? Tools require effort to make. Set up a forge and get to making.
- Fresh cuts of Beef?! You're not getting any fresh cuts unless you carve it yourself!
- Cooking should be an experience. Let's make sure that stays true.
- Why is this snow so cold? Maybe because you're naked... You should probably fix that.
- "I'm thirsty, it's hot out here, where am I." You're probably in a desert... Maybe dig down? There could be water down there... or lava.
- Let me just cook this log in a furnace...????? Use a charcoal pit, as nature intended. Probably.
- You know that brewing stand you have sitting in the corner? It doesn't seem to be doing anything. Maybe you should try mixing some things in that crucible of yours.
- That farm of yours looks like it's doing a little rough. Maybe you should go check on it.
Potential changes include:
- Recipes that make sense!
- More stuff made by hand (This can be clunky. Terrafirmacraft is a good reference for that. I'll try to keep things simple and direct for the sake of sanity.
- The world feels a little empty. Maybe I'll make a thing...
- Some things just feel weird. These will be fixed.
- I have plans for enchanting. We'll see if they get done.
- Others to be considered.
- There are a plethora of things that I haven't tested. Maybe I'll get around to it.
Some Notes : I'm continuing to work on this to bring it closer to what I want.
I made this to play with friends.
If you play this... (I did say if) feel free to suggest things. (I'll probably turn them down though.)
!You will likely find issues while playing!
I have a fairly high-end PC. As such I can't say for certain how heavy this pack is. Play at your own risk!
