The Living Overworld - Update Patch Notes

Overview

This update brings a major content boost to world exploration, drastically expanding both the Overworld and Nether dimensions. Expect to find more life in towns, new subterranean settlements, roaming factions, and a completely transformed underworld.

Detailed Changes

Overworld Expansion

• Underground Villages: You can now discover hidden villages generating deep below the surface during mining trips.

• Wandering & Enhanced Villagers: Added Visiting Villagers and More Villagers to introduce traveling merchants and expanded trading options.

• Illager Encounters: Added It Takes a Pillage Continuation, bringing new illager camps, watchtowers, and roaming raiders to the terrain.

Nether Dimension Overhaul

• Incendium: Overhauls the Nether with massive new biomes, distinct atmospheric terrain, and challenging custom structures.

• Eternal Nether: Adds extra underworld content and subterranean features to give you a reason to fully explore the Nether.

World Compatibility Notice

Because this update introduces brand-new biomes and structure generation for both dimensions, starting a new world is strongly recommended. Existing worlds will only display the new content inside previously unexplored chunks.
