What's new

StreamCraft Live 0.15.11 → 0.17.4. Lockstep release with TBS-Server 1.4.0 — run the same StreamCraft version on client and server. No mod added or removed; every other mod stays at the exact same version.

  • Repinned StreamCraft Live → 0.17.4+mc26.1.2 (Modrinth OvOKFjHA), rolling up the 0.16–0.17 line published 2026-07-19/20. Highlights for players:
  • Shader pack support is certified — StreamCraft screens render correctly under BSL, Complementary Reimagined, Photon, and Solas. This pack's shader pins (updated in 1.3.1) are all at or above the builds StreamCraft certifies. Screens are somewhat dimmer under Solas at night or indoors.
  • Block Glow (new, free, off by default) — a Display Block can cast a soft colored glow onto the surrounding wall, tinted live by the video. Cycle Glow: OFF / Low / Medium / High in the display's config screen. It needs both sides on this build to sync the per-block setting, which this lockstep release gives.
  • Essential support is official — inviting a friend into your single-player world turns multi-party video on automatically, and an owned license is now recognized instead of falling back to multi-party-off.
  • Streams only broadcast when someone is watching — your own view and your own Display Blocks light up instantly (always free and local), and the upload starts only once another player is in range. Solo streaming no longer spends trial minutes.
  • Virtual cameras work on Windows — NVIDIA Broadcast, OBS Virtual Camera, and Snap Camera now appear in the device picker via a DirectShow backend.
  • Better YouTube restream audio, plus fixes for green/garbled remote screen shares, self-view letterbox cropping on Mac, and a second source turned on mid-stream not reaching other players.
  • All five per-OS pins updated in sync (Windows primary, Linux, Linux ARM64, macOS arm64/x86_64) plus the CurseForge swap (CF file 8469364).
  • No wire-protocol change since 0.15.11 (still 7), so a client on the older build still connects — but matching the server's version is recommended, and Block Glow needs both sides updated.

Not in the CurseForge build

A few things can't ride along inside the CurseForge package because of licensing or CurseForge policy. The Modrinth build of this pack includes them; on CurseForge, install them yourself:

  • Voxy — CurseForge does not permit redistributing it in modpacks. Install from its Modrinth page.
  • Complementary Shaders – Reimagined — install from its CurseForge page. The bundled Patrix 32x resource pack pairs with it for labPBR.
  • Fresh Animations (main pack + Emissive + Extensions) — install the FA family from CurseForge.
  • Default Options (+ Balm) — only sets the Open Parties and Claims menu key to semicolon by default (ARR license). Optional: install both from CurseForge for the default, or just rebind the key yourself in Controls.
  • Xaero's Minimap + Xaero's World Map — ARR license; install both from CurseForge (one click in the CF app). They power the Open Parties and Claims map overlay. The Modrinth build bundles them.
