SETUP & INSTALLATION
Automatic Install (recommended):
CURSEFORGE LAUNCHER: https://curseforge.overwolf.com/
This is the easiest way to install The World After. Link your Minecraft game, go to browse modpacks, find The World After and install, click play, that's it!
Anyone moving from the Twitch launcher to the CurseForge launcher will automatically keep all profiles and modpacks.
Manual Install :
- FORGE: The latest version of Forge for 1.12.2 should work, but in the case it breaks an older mod in this modpack, the version I have currently packaged with the modpack is Forge 14.23.5.2855
Recommended
I highly recommend using Optifine for this modpack, and you should use smooth fps for Optifine as well so your game will have better framerates with this modpack
Things you should know:
There is temperature, there is zombies everywhere, food might be scare, getting resources will be diffucult,
and I think food can rot, there is more mobs, and guns, and you will probably die...

Guns, Vehicles, No punching trees, a difficult survival experience.
Information about the mod:
It is a hardcore sci-fi survival modpack, death is around the corner everywhere... you have items with you, a baseball bat and a pickaxe, axe as well, wool hat, some food, campfires, and a flint of steel.
To put it simply, the world has changed and you have stuff to survive.
Lore: Something happened, you wake up dazed with just supplies, you realize you're in danger, you will need to do anything to survive.
HOW TO SURVIVE:
Find shelter, FAST
Get more food!
Get more resources! You also can't punch trees with your fist
Craft stuff
Don't trust any mob you don't know, it could be hostile or not
Some biomes can kill you in a blink cause of its dangerous enviroment
Stuff to know:
This is a somewhat realistic modpack, not fully realistic but somewhat
