The Whirl

This pack is a curated set of mods designed to evoke the same sense of sandbox exploration and survival available in the vanilla game, with additions from both the natural real world and fantastical elements in order to expand the longevity, community questing and replay ability. There are multiple mods with additional dimensions and new goals that will require additional resource collection as well as greater teamwork, and it is hoped that additions will deliberately surprise those who have only experienced either specific mods or vanilla only. The idea is that, just like the real world (especially in ancient times and in a fantastical world) new challenges and opportunities will present themselves and the player and community will have to adapt, whilst knowing that the surprises will only add to the potential rather than restrict it. Selected primarily for a specific (or specific set) of private servers and so will therefore adopt their creators personal tastes regarding mobs and aesthetic, but generally the focus is on a balance between the traditional pixelated minecraft aesthetic as well as a primal aesthetic.
