The Spores Outbreak is a performance-optimized survival-horror modpack for Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge), centered around a world consumed by a spreading fungal infection. Civilization has collapsed, cities rot from within, nights are terrifying, and survival demands planning, restraint, and adaptability.

A mysterious spore-based organism has overtaken the land. Forests grow unnaturally dense, abandoned cities crumble under decay, and infected creatures roam relentlessly. Darkness is no longer safe, weather turns hostile, and every journey risks death.

This is not a rush-to-endgame pack. Progression is slow, tense, and punishing. Survival depends on scavenging, food management, smart movement, and knowing when to fight—or hide.
