"Death is not the only thing this modpack contains..." - Shadow263
Ladies and Gentlemen!
Welcome to one of the most cruelest, brain cell losing, frustrating, terrifying, intense, silly, and breathtaking modpacks.
The ShadowPack!
(I hope it's as good as I say)
Don't take this modpack too lightly.
This pack is not for the faint of heart, but if your up for a challenge.....and some spooks.
Then this modpack is just for you!
The Mods featured in this modpack make the begining of your survival adventure quite a challenge.
You'll want to make the most of your first day as come night time, your either ready, or dead!
Getting started in your adventure will be quite a tricky task.
Start by breaking gravel in the hopes for some flint!
Grab a decent amount of flint as you will need it if you want to survive your first night.
After getting the flint, find some stone of any sorts, and smash that flint against it with the right mouse button.
You'll be given flint shards now.
Next, start breaking tree leaves for some sticks, then place a stick and flint shard in the crafting grid in your inventory with the flint up top, and the stick underneath, so you can then craft yourself a flint knife!
With that knife, begin slashing grass to get plant fiber, with that you can turn it into plant string to then make all the other useful flint tools!
Plenty of hostile mobs await you once the night falls, so you best be making yourself a shelter of some sorts ASAP!
But!
Before you stick yourself in a little dirt mound for the night, you best find some type of light source as something nasty and horrid lies in wait in the dark and will snap you up if you stay in the dark for too long, so you will need to make yourself some torches before hand!
Easy enough am I right?? WRONG!!
Torches are a little different now, upon creating torches, they start as unlit ones of which you will need to craft a matchbox to then light the torches, but once placed, they will burn out eventually, and once you break them, they become unlit again.
So be on the look out for suger cane while your at it.
There is also a special mod that let's you make a type of sand that grows sugercane faster on sand like it should do normally.
The mod goes by the name: Snad, be sure to take a look while you hide in your hut for the night.
So with the important things out of the way, here are some things you should have in mind when playing!
Stone tools are no longer craftable!
You'll have to find iron instead now, but don't worry, a flint pickaxe will break iron, just be careful when looking for it!
The Journeymap mod is VERY helpful!
Be sure to use the minimap to help you get around, and so you can set waypoints of where your house is, or any important locations!
But you will not be able to teleport to any of them, you'll have to walk or run to the markers instead!
You can also find Waystones around the map of which when right clicking will become active to use to teleport to other Waystones!
You can even craft your own to put in better suited places as well!
Don't be fooled by some of the majestic and cute looking mobs of this modpack, come night time, a range of semi human hostile mobs will come running at you to to ruin your day.....or night in this case.
Some are fast, some have bows, some are sneaky, some are tanky, some.....float...
Some mobs are granted special abilities that will ruin your day, so if you see effects emtting from them, you best be running!
Explore and find huge villages filled with all sorts of NPC's, or strange buildings filled with amazing loot!....and strong enemies.
There is plenty more loaded in this modpack so you won't be left with nothing to do.
I'll let you be the one to venture out and find them! =D

Big thanks to all these peoples.
I'd highly recommend you download Optifine 1.12.2 for a much smoother experience!
And I also recommend you add more allocated RAM when launching the modpack, bumping it up from 1GB to 4GB
To find this.
Upon starting up the launcher, click the "installations" tab, find the version for the modpack, then click the three dots when you hover over it.
Click the tree dots and then click "Edit"
After that, click the "More Options" button and find a long line of text similar to this:
-Xmx1G -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:G1NewSizePercent=20 -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=32M
Where it says "-Xmx1G", change the 1G to 4G.
Then click save, and your all ready to start playing now!
This modpack was something a friend of mines and I put together as an idea for something fun, I have been Live Streaming the modpack as a series over on Mixer!
So if your looking for some help, or want to watch the creator of this madness have a go at it, be sure to check me out on Mixer and stop by the streams at either 10:30 AM AWST or 11:00 AM AWST on Tuesday's and Thursday's, under the name Shadow263
=D
Or click the link here (much easier): https://mixer.com/Shadow263
I stream every week, it's lot's of fun, so be sure to stop by if you can!
Hopefully I have all the needed info here, I'm no modding expert, so please don't blame me for any huge issues, I just threw these mods together for fun, and thought it would be cool to share it with others so they could try it out for themselves!
If you have any questions, feel free to ask! (I don't bite)
And thank you for checking out and or trying my modpack The ShadowPack!
I have some advice for you all though.
Don't Let Your Guard Down...
