The Rizzler SMP

The Rizzler SMP is a relatively lightweight modpack for Minecraft 1.18.2 that tries to balance tech, magic, and exploration mods so that all players have something they like while not having to worry about performance.

 

This Modpack was designed for small to medium sized servers where people may have wildly different preferences of progression, and as such, we've included the best magic mods we could find, such as Blood Magic and Ars Nouveau, and the best tech mods we could find such as Create, Thermal, and Mekanism. We've also included exploration mods for thrill-seeking players, such as the Twilight Forest, along with Biome mods, such as Biomes O' Plenty and Terralith. Above all, however, we've included performance improvement mods, such as FerriteCore and AI Improvements so that users with low-performance PCs can actually enjoy all of these mods without having to worry about game crashes or constant lag.

 

The main progression paths for magic in our modpack are Ars Nouveau and Blood Magic, while Twilight Forest and Ensorcellation act as side progressions where not a lot of time investment is needed.

 

The main progression paths for tech in The Rizzler SMP are Thermal Foundation, Mekanism, and Immersive Engineering, while mods like Mob Grinding Utils, which is used to create mob farms, and XNet, which is used to create complex storages, aim to improve quality of life in their respective fields.

 

Many minor quality-of-life mods are also included to improve player experience, such as Just Enough Items, which creates an index of all items, including modded items, and Mod Tooltip tells the player what mod a block or item is from.
