This modpack is meant to be played in hard mode/hardcore!

Once upon a time, the world was at peace. Animals foraged for food, humans fought off the undead, and life was challenging, but not terrifying. Then, the humans got greedy. Digging too far with their excavators and heavy machinery, they accidentally loosed a long-dormant parasite upon the world, that now ravages every corner of the planet and consumes all in its path. You, the player, are one of the few survivors of a local settlement that was recently overrun. Armed with just a stone knife, a rudimentary hand cannon, some food, and manuals you salvaged from the library, you have only two objectives: survive for 100 days, and leave this accursed planet.
