A few things to know before you begin your journey in The Realm of Faye:

There is no progression tree (yet). This pack is designed for open‑ended play where you choose your own path. A progression system may be added later, but for now, freedom is the core experience.

Allocate at least 9,000 MB of RAM. This pack is large and feature‑rich, and it needs a healthy amount of memory to run smoothly.

The “Quirk” button on the title screen instantly closes the game. I genuinely have no idea why it does this, it’s just a strange menu behavior. If you figure it out, feel free to tell me.

Long load times and “Not Responding” messages are normal. With this many mods, the game may freeze or appear unresponsive during startup. It usually recovers on its own, so give it a moment.

Lag spikes will happen. Between worldgen, structures, dungeons, and biome variety, occasional stutters are expected.

This is my first modpack. This is my first major modpack project, and I’m continuing to refine it based on feedback. Thanks for joining me on this journey.

Planned Updates

Here’s what I’m hoping to add or improve as The Realm of Faye continues to grow:

A progression or quest system Something lightweight that guides new players without restricting freedom. This may include quests, achievements, or a soft progression path.

Performance tuning and optimization As the pack evolves, I’ll be refining configs, removing unnecessary load, and improving stability where possible.

More structures, dungeons, and worldgen variety Exploration is meant to stay exciting — frequent structures are intentional, and the world is designed to feel alive and full of discovery.

Content for every playstyle Whether you’re a farmer, builder, explorer, or fighter, the pack will continue expanding with features that support different kinds of players.

Balancing and difficulty adjustments Bosses, loot tables, and combat pacing may be tweaked based on feedback.

Mod additions and removals As the pack matures, some mods may be added to enhance the experience, while others may be removed if they cause issues or overlap.

Bug fixes and quality‑of‑life improvements Anything from config tweaks to menu fixes (including the mysterious “Quirk” button if I ever figure it out).

General polish as the pack moves forward I'll be polishing this as feedback comes in and as I find bugs or weird instances.

Known Issues:

Occasional Terrain Glitches: With so many worldgen, biome, and structure mods enabled, terrain can get… weird, to say the least. It still functions fine, and honestly, some of the odd formations can make for cool builds.

Structure Clustering: Structures can sometimes spawn tighter clusters than normal because of the number of structure mods. But hey, that just means more loot.

Load Times and Temporary Freezes: The pack may appear to freeze or say “Not Responding,” but it usually clears up on its own. Just give it a moment.

The Quirk Button, Again: Sorry for bringing this up so much, but I don’t want anyone saying I never warned them. Clicking it instantly closes the game.

General Lag Spikes: With a modpack like this, lag is completely normal. It usually sorts itself out after a moment.
