You guys ready for round 2? This is the 2nd season in the multiple seasons of Race to Space. However, S2 comes with a twist. Being located in 1.12.2, this modpack is guaranteed fun! This is the brand new Race to Space pack you guys have been waiting for. I have worked very hard on this in my spare time and I hope you all enjoy!
Note: This pack runs on 1.12.2 and has many mods. As such, allocate at least 6GB of RAM, and I recommend 8GB allocated for best overall performance. Do not report issues if the pack is running on less than 6GB of RAM.
Another Note: If you see an issue with a mod, please leave a comment here and verify with me that the mod you're having issues with is the latest version before reporting an issue to a mod author. If it gets to where you need to report an issue to a mod author, make sure that you mention that FoamFix is enabled.
Current Issues: As of now, I know 6GB of RAM can be a lot, and I'm still working on trying to get that number down as low as possible, however I can't really go much lower considering this pack is in 1.12.2 and contains over 300 mods.
Another issue: PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THE SPACE NETHER!!! This is important because it will cause your game to crash and could potentially soft lock your save. I've already contacted the developer of More Planets to see if I can disable that planet entirely. Once possible, I will remove it, but for now, DO NOT go to it.
If you do not believe your computer can handle The Race to Space: S2 I highly recommend you play The Race to Space: S1 which is a much lighter pack located in 1.7.10. It can be found here.
