I wanted to see what I could do with a more up-to-date version of Minecraft (1.18.2). The modpack is as light weight as I can make it (59 mods). It has a functionally complete, if difficult, set of industrial mods (Immersive Engineering, Industrial Foregoing, Refined Storage, Tinker's Construct). And it has a selection of builder mods to appease my neice (Macaw's Bridges, MrCrayfish's Furniture Mod, Oak's Decor, Re-chiseled). There are a significant number of quality-of-life mods in there too. Of course, I've tweaked and clamped down on everything I can get my hands on (thank the Universe that CraftTweaker exists!).
That said, this "light-weight" modpack still makes my 3 year-old top-of-the-line Macbook struggle a bit, which is why I removed the Thermal mods and Mystical Agriculture from this version. I will be eagerly awaiting the 1.18.2 version of EnderIO. Pipez is fine, but I really miss EnderIO's conduits (and capacitors and solar panels and machines and ... you get the idea).
