Patch 2.5.3! This one was a long time comin'.

The one is a pretty comprehensive balance patch, tackling everything from item progression, to the mobs, and the removal of some mods to make the experience a bit more cohesive.

Mobs:

-Tweaks to Zombie Awareness. Zombies now spawn in groups significantly less often. This was mainly done to reduce the unfairness of getting swarmed by seemingly tens of zombies at once. This also gives other mobs chances to spawn in and join the fray.

-Significant balance pass to Scape & Run. Now, the initial phases have a timer before the parasites can start earning points towards their next Evolution Phase (Approximately two in-game days.) This is more than enough time to give players a head start before the parasites start flooding throughout the world. The Assimilated Enderman got a significant nerf to its health and damage. Not, they appropriately fill the roll of the harasser; quickly zipping in and out to poke you as well as summoning more parasites, rather than just outright two-tapping without giving you a chance to fight back. The Adaptation mechanic got a significant nerf across the board, as well.

-Removed Sharks. They were janky as hell and often left oceans completely empty from their never-ending bloodlust.

Progression:

-Removed the recipes for Diamond Tools. Now, the only way to acquire Diamond tools is by upgrading your already existing Iron tools via the Tetra crafting system. This was done to give a refresh on the vanilla experience, as well as properly introduce players to the in-depth world of Tetra.

-Rebalanced recipes on some Weapons of the Apocalypse tools.

Systems:

-Tweaks to First Aid. A blacked-out body will no longer inflict the Weakness debuff.

-Nerfs to Thirst to make it less of a nuisance.

-Removed Temperature. It's nothing but a nuisance and I couldn't find a proper way to balance it.

-Removed some mods, including Essential. I'm saving that mod in particular for when I make a no-quest  version of the modpack.
