A: You'll have to muddle through until you get one of the many tools that will ease your mining habit: Hammers, Lumber Axes, Drills, forced labor golems. Engineering Decor has a cool tree chopper and hopper that picks up items in the area around it.
Q: There's no mob creator/crusher machine, sed quid?
A: Sorry. Either find a spawner to build a farm around, or make a mob spawning building and kill them with gravity's love, or a Tesla coil!
Q: How do I mass kill harmless farm animals?
A: Well, don't tell PETA but you can right click the entity loader from Simply Loaders with an egg to only move the young animals into a separate area or minecart. Also, Engineer's Decor has a milker for your dairy fetish needs.
