The Lost World is a hardcore prehistoric survival modpack with an emphasis on multiplayer balance, and a very gamey sub-nautica like vibe. A land of pure fight or flight, this pack will push you to your very limits. Navigate a prehistoric environment, tame and ride a plethora of prehistoric fauna, craft primitive and modern weaponry, and enjoy a tailored sub-nautica-like gameplay. Intended for experienced players. Play alone or with friends!

Tips:
Tip 1: Stealth is important here, remember... You can evade most encounters through careful movement.
Tip 2: You're going to need to craft some primitive tools... Forage for some sticks, then knap some flint against stone. A basic flint knife will get you plant fibers for chord.
Tip 3: Getting a fire started will let you set a new spawn. Drop 3 sticks and a log, and ignite it with a fire starter. Just make sure to light it in a safe location, or reap the carnage...
Tip 4: Protect your belongings... You can use a stick to claim an area, and manage it through the /flan menu.
Tip 5: Food sources can be scarce. Sometimes scavenging is the only option...
Tip 6: With the right tool, you could start sculpting clay into a variety of early useful devices.
Tip 7:
Having trouble seeing your way? Try lobbing your torch with a shifted drop!
Tip 8: Annoyed you keep having to clean out the barrel? I'll bet some ice could help preserve those rations...
Tip 9: Canteens, Primitive Clothing, Sleeping Bags, Ropes, Paragliders, and Backpacks are all essential traveler's supplies, but be warned, stray bodies are free loot...
Tip 10: Upgrading to metal tools might just give you a fighting chance, but ores can be very scarce, and before you start mining too deep, you're going to need a stronger pick.
Tip 11: Crafting a compass may save you precious time locating your camp... Create a waypoint by pressing H.
Tip 12: Having trouble getting your crops to grow? A glass roof may help them cope through the harsh months...
Tip 13: Once you have decent tools, you can start traveling long distances by crafting a trail kit. But be sure to prepare for your journey, and pick your destination carefully...
Tip 14: Don't expect to find civilization out here...
Tip 15: A simple bow is handy, but I'll bet you could find a way to increase its power...
Tip 16: If you had a strong enough rope, I'll bet you could guide even the largest of beasts...

Tip 17: Eventually, bows and spears just aren't going to cut it... You'll have to make a workbench, and start crafting firearms. But first you'll have to unlock the secrets of gunpowder...
Tip 18: Have you seen a slime lately? That might just be what you need to start crafting vehicles...
Tip 19: If you were smart, you could harness these creatures' DNA to replicate their gestation process. Or you could just steal that egg...
Tip 20: With the right advancements, you could enhance your physical capabilities into something a little more modern...
