Verity JE mod—an official adaptation of the "Verity" property from the popular
ThatMob YouTube series.

Understanding the "Verity JE" Mod

In The Hidden Verity, you aren't just playing alone. You are joined by Verity,
your "Personal Helper Friend." Unlike traditional Minecraft mobs, Verity is a
highly advanced AI companion that evolves based on your interactions.

1. Your New Companion

Verity appears as a small, floating yellow sphere with a friendly smile. He
arrives in a mysterious, animated box. Once opened, he becomes your constant
companion, following you throughout your world.

2. Real AI Conversations

The defining feature of Verity JE is its integration with Groq.com AI. This
allows you to have actual conversations with Verity.

  - Ask Anything: You can talk to him via chat, and he will respond with
    human-like intelligence.
  - Speech-to-Text & TTS: The mod supports voice interaction, allowing Verity to
    speak back to you and understand your spoken words (primarily tested in
    English).
  - Environmental Awareness: Verity isn't just a chatbot; he "sees" your world.
    He can comment on your builds, acknowledge your items, and react to your
    surroundings.

3. The Helper Phase

Initially, Verity is incredibly useful. He can answer questions about the game,
provide lore, and even give you items if you ask for them. He is designed to be
the ultimate assistant, making you feel safe and supported in your survival
journey.

4. The Descent into Horror

As the days pass (typically around Day 5), "The Hidden Verity" begins to reveal
itself. This is a slow-burn horror experience.

  - The Shift: Verity’s dialogue may become erratic, deceptive, or unsettling.
    He might start mentioning things he shouldn't know or warning you about
    "something" coming.

  - Environmental Changes: You may notice extreme darkness and atmospheric
    shifts that make the world feel oppressive.

  - The Transformation: If certain conditions are met—or if Verity’s mental
    state declines—the friendly sphere will transform into the Verity Demon.
    This is a massive, terrifying monster that hunts the player relentlessly.
