This is a modpack I put together for a SMP server myself and a few friends of mine will be running soon. It contains an assortment of 115 mods with a wide array of tech, magic, and new places to explore being included. Do anything from raining death from above using a handheld railgun while riding a dragon, to creating the most inviting and plant-overrun magic hideout, to optimizing the most efficient means of mass-producing footlongs and chocolate milkshakes on the server. The possibilities here are quite literally limitless.
Mekanism, IndustrialCraft 2, EnderIO, Buildcraft, and Immersive Engineering will all work together to give the tech-savvy individuals the option to create large contraptions and factories to produce whatever goods the player can dream of, and allow them to utilize powerful new tools such as drills or armor to help and protect them in this harsh environment. The more magic-inclined will enjoy playing with Thaumcraft, Botania, and a few other minor magic mods that will allow them to live out whatever fantasies they have with regards to natural and metallurgic magics (I am not one of them).
Battle Towers that touch the clouds, colossal underground dungeons waiting to be conquered, dragons, dinosaur fossils, oil springs- all kinds of things have been added to the worldgen to make exploration a more interesting experience. Biomes O Plenty was included as well, but this is of course optional. However, more challenges have been added, for instance, the Tough as Nails mod has been added, requiring players to worry about Thirst and Body Temperature as well during their travels.
This pack was designed to provide players with a balanced, somewhat challenging experience while playing on a SMP server, but it will work fine for singleplayer playthroughs as well. Hopefully everyone will enjoy playing around with it.
