Infected Bunkers & The Automatable Infection

This small update brings a higher difficulty inside Bunkers by replacing the (previously useless) zombie spawners with evolved infected. Besides that, it also provides new recipes

After some community feedback, some nerfs have also been applied, mainly benefiting the early game:

  • Removed the health buff that infected had, which increased their health by 20% globally.
  • Made base infected mobs spawn much less, prolongating the high amount of evolutions by a few MC days.

These new changes should lessen the "timed difficulty" feel a lot, and allow you to go on your own pace to gear yourself or do activities such as mining while the infection grows, without impacting late game as much.

Hotfix Changes

  • Added back Create Copycats+ as it was missing
  • Added Spore&Underground Bunker Spawner Compat as a mod (As it wasn't on CF previously)

Changes

  • Nerfed infected max health by -20%
  • Heavily nerfed spawn weight of base infected mobs
  • Made infected get hunger 50% faster than before to avoid too much stacking on areas that they can't sustain themselves
  • Many Spore items are now automateable via Create thanks to The Biomass Must Grow
  • Added many decorative blocks from Create Copycats+, which will help out with the current contest!
  • Removed zoom tip from keybinds quest
