Hello There,
This modpack is a revised version of my private modpack called "The Expanse".
It does NOT aim to be the best modpack out there. Instead, it is a modpack made with suggestions from the Holdcraft community
and is ultimately for the community to enjoy.
What you can expect:
- More Mobs! There are hundreds of different mobs added to the game. From sea serpents in the ocean to dragons flying in the sky. Careful in the jungles, lest you get ambushed by camouflaged carnivorous plants. Bosses have started roaming the 3 dimensions... And maybe even a place where no light can reach.
- Magic, heresy, and everything in between. Mahou Tsukai introduces a good chunk of amazing magic content for you to annoy your friends with. Just try not to blow yourself up.
- Biomes, biomes, biomes galore! Two biome mods make exploration an absolute treat to do in the Overworld, Nether, and especially The End.
- New weapons for you to use. From mystical weapons, old guns, and custom building a sword's parts from scratch using a smelter and then putting it together.
- Speaking of exploration, there are now new structures in the Overworld and the Nether. Reaching the nether can be done by exploring caves and finding rifts. Take these rifts home or jump in. Just remember to carry some gold with you since the only way you're getting back home is by finding and fixing a monolith in the Nether. Worry not though, since both can be broken/picked up with a bucket and placed back down.
- An expanded food system. Multiple mods increase the amount of food. Compatibility mods make it so different mods and their food items interact with each other to create more varieties.
- More ways of travel! You can make some exceedingly realistic trains to ferry yourself with style, and more boats will definitely make traversing the ocean a breeze.
- An alternative 3rd person combat system with a press of a button (and the F5 button of course). Combat in this mode flows faster and has more variation, but you'll be locked into certain animations at times, so it is a trade-off. Certain mod-specific weapons also have different animations and therefore attack speeds.
- Simple quality of life and UI changes.
