The Cozy Universe is an old school style modpack for 1.7.10.
As the name entails this modpack is designed to be pretty cozy. Sure, there are bosses and enimes abound. But if you're looking for a hardcore and challenging experience you likely wont find it here.
The Cozy Universe is ment to have a little something for everybody. Whether you want to design intricatre structures with every detal accounted for, explore the high seas, fight and raid dungeon after dungeon or explore dimensions chock full of bosses, cook incredible dishes and create the garden of your dreams, become a witch in the woods or a wizard in a high tower, or even creating technical marvels and machines that do the work for you, you'll find it here.
Biomes:
With Biomes O' Plenty, Natura, Forestry, Binnies Mods, and GrowthCraft you'll find no shortage of unique biomes that elevate the default minecraft world. Discover great trees that peirce the skys and provide beautiful wood, gorgeous flowers that can brighten any dirt house, and breathtaking expanses of land that can become your new home.
Dimensions:
Tired of the overlands? Explore brand new worlds with The Twilight Forest, The Aether, and AbyssalCraft. Here you'll find brand new dungeouns and bosses Galore, as well as all new elements you'll have to learn to surrvive these new lands. You can also explore the stars and the whole of the Cozy Universe with Advanced Rocketry.
Mobs:
You wont find the same old livestock and zombie filled lands anymore with Mo' Creatures and Abyssal Craft. With these mods you can befriend and tame all sorts of cute and extremely dangerous animals, as well as fight new foes when the sun sets on the horizon.
Farming:
Ever wanted to create beautiful and lush gardens and farmland that can be used to tantilize the tastebuds of your virtual human? Then Pams Harvest Craft and AgriCraft are for you. With these mods you can enhance those dull wheat feilds into ones full of variety and color, and not only do these crops look pretty they taste great too. Create complex and ingredient rich dishes with Pams Harvest Craft that can fill that hunger bar in seconds. And if you're into magic as well, Witchery and Botania can help round out those gardens that much more.
Magic:
This modpack contains the three great pillars within the magic mod pantheon. Thaumcraft (and all of its additions), Blood Magic, and Witchery; as well as Botania, AbyssalCraft, and Totemic. With these mods you can command the elements around you, bring your plants to life, draw powerful runic circles on the forrest floor, and infuse everday objects with powerful magic.
Tech:
Applied Energistics, Big Reactors, BuildCraft, EnderIO, Immersive Engenering, Industrial Craft, Magneticraft, Mekanism, OpenComputers, SecurityCraft, and much of the Thermal Series will keep you inventing and tinkering away in your lab. Create huge technical marvels from windmills to infinite storage to auto turrets, just becareful you dont go too mad with power.
