Cozy SMP is a Minecraft survival modpack built around personal progression, useful professions, and a player economy. Build a home, develop your craft, explore for resources, and trade with other players as your settlement grows. Custom progression connects Create engineering, farming, cooking, equipment crafting, and magic, giving each specialty a role in the community.
Six professions with a purpose
Choose a specialty or invest in several professions as you progress toward level 32. Each profession unlocks new ways to produce goods and contribute to your world.
- Adventurer unlocks exploration equipment, travel supplies, backpacks, and Small Ships construction.
- Engineer develops Create machinery, automation, item logistics, and technical equipment.
- Blacksmith manufactures weapons, armor, and tools for the community.
- Chef turns ingredients into an expanded range of meals, prepared foods, drinks, and production supplies.
- Arcanist produces potions, magical equipment, jewelry, and spell scrolls, with progression for enchanting and inscription services.
- Agriculture develops crop planting, animal husbandry, and farming equipment and automation.
Eight supporting skills cover Mining, Gathering, Attack, Defense, Building, Farming, Agility, and Magic. These sit alongside the professions, with separate requirements for activities and equipment use. Magic governs spell access and casting progression, while Arcanist governs magical production.
Earn Copper Coins and grow your skills
Copper Coins connects the economy to progression. Complete supply jobs, sell your goods, and spend Copper to purchase skill levels. Village contracts offer deliveries and reputation progression, while personal daily Field Board bounties provide another source of income away from villages. Milestone rewards recognize your progress with useful supplies and bonuses.
Trade goods and services
Shops, Merchant's Crates, and custom Order Packages give players ways to exchange their specialties. Request an item for another player to supply, or fill your own order and send it to someone else. A supplier inserts the requested item, chooses a Copper price, and confirms packaging; the recipient pays to open the sealed package.
Production and use have separate rules. Players can buy and eat a Chef's meals without learning to cook them, and purchased potions remain usable without Arcanist investment. Equipment and spells retain their own use requirements, so trade supports progression without removing its goals.
Build workshops and automate production
Create provides machinery, moving contraptions, processing systems, and package logistics. Profession requirements extend into supported production methods, and commissioned workshops, kitchens, laboratories, and farms give automation a place in the progression system. Build specialized production areas and keep supplying the community as demand grows.
Make a home worth returning to
Farmer's Delight, Create Food, and related additions expand farming and cooking into substantial pursuits. Grow ingredients, develop a kitchen, and stock a market with finished meals. Handcrafted, Rechiseled, Supplementaries, and other building additions provide furniture, decorative blocks, and practical details for homes, storefronts, and shared settlements.
Explore beyond the settlement
Take a break from production to gather materials, discover structures, and develop your combat and Magic skills. Small Ships adds vessels built through a Dockyard, while End Remastered expands the journey toward reaching the End. Exploration supplies resources and discoveries that feed back into your professions and trading opportunities.
Follow your own progress
An in-game progression table, requirement tooltips, unlock notifications, and reference guides help explain what is available and what comes next. Progress is personal, allowing players in the same community to develop different specialties and work toward their own goals.
Cozy SMP is designed for players who enjoy building a lasting survival world where farms, workshops, shops, and adventures all contribute to the community. The core progression systems also work in singleplayer, where you can develop several professions and build your own production network.
